A Funny Poem...well I think it is!!!!!!

cnwriter..carolina
A funny poem about squirrels and fleas and bugs and trash....

The Beginning or How It Came About!!!

it came upon a midnight clear
for me to find a way
to write a poem full of fun
yet nothing much to say

it is far from my usual trash
but thought I'd give it
just a little bash
so here goes and
hope you find
it not too boring
or hard to mind

Journey of a WhatUMayCallIt......

once upon a time
in a faery land
there lived a red squirrel
with two hands
one he used to scratch his bum
the other picked bugs from his tum

one day a grey with eyes like ice
decided that he did like mice
so he journeyed to a
far off land
crossing mountains and seas
on the backs of fleas
with wings (I have to say or
how the hell could he have got so far!)

Merry Old England

So when he finally arrived
In merry Old England he found
a lot of reddish looking look alikes

Immediately he said this cannot be
for they must all be grey as me
so with careful planning
and Borgia means
he rid himself of reams and reams
of reddish ones with bums and tums

End of ???

So the story goes but wait my friend
'Tis true indeed
For now our land is diseased
With greys and no more reds
so now you can go to bed
and dream your dreams
or nightmares if that be your choice

I rest my case!!!!!!

into 2015 We Go....a half empty or half full Glass ...

I love words,,, so often they light up my soul and passion shines through. I also want to dedicate this to Joe Cocker...he came forward at a great time of change when he and others like him were able to help transform the world..

reach we do into 2015
what treasures will be there
magnificences or miseries
perhaps up to you
a glass is half empty
or half full!!!

words will always play a part
at least for me...
Achromatism...absence of colour
all around we see
if blind we be...

words a magic mirror
through which the world to view
running like skeins of gold
through my mind
lifting me to heights sublime
away from all mortality

scribe them on the page i do
for you to read
see me through
for i am in them all
an energie sublime

transferring knowing
sharing
giving
receiving
a gift will be
from me to thee

time passeth...

learn you will as time passeth by
there is so much more to life
a myriad of fantastic shapes
thoughts and feelings

take them one by one
explore
or put them away
take out another day

always a choice for you to make

magic resides

then into your world can come
all the things you dreamed on
but then perhaps you will not want any more
for desire leaves after a while

you are left with only your Self
a magical being to know
for only 10% of you is physical
90% is hidden inside
where magic resides

light streameth....

light streams down
always there for all to see
mystery

increase you will as time passeth by
for that is how things be
unless into darkness you do go
then decrease you will

and so it is....

Laws of Karma...All that You Create is Returned...Sooner Later Always!!!!

Even the English countryside bears witness to past crimes. The Law of Karma, of Return takes you into the realisation that all you put in motion is returned to you. As it does to all of us..

Fair English Countryside

Wander you can far and near
But never elsewhere will you find

Fair English countryside
Where in meadows green
Runs through a bubbling stream

There did come such creatures wild
Snowy white egrets paused
Otters and watervoles
Moorhens and herons bold

Calling It Home

The English countryside so fair
Forever has it been
A home for ordinary people
As well as kings and queens

Fields and forests and villages where
Wandered they without a care

Away from pain and strife
Idyllic settings to spend a care free life

Thus fall They..

But as history doth record
There comes a time for all
When unkind happenings disturb
The warp and weft of humankind
And thus in war they fall

The haves and the have nots
It matters not a damn
For each of us receive reward
For what we've said and done

The Law of Reversibility...

Law of Reversibility
Wheel of Eighty-Four

Turns and turns some more
Recording in just rotation
All that we have done
Put into motion

No-one can change that
Set in stone it is

Blame not others
Cry not or moan
Responsibility lies with you alone

What goes around
Finds it way back
To you

and so it is

Your Creation

And if you don't believe
Then wonder just a little
How young ones
Geniuses be

Without even learning
How to do
Incredible works

A little baby oh so pure it seems
Dies young before his teens
Why oh why his parents cry
They know not that in times gone by
They killed their child
And now the lesson returns it does
In such an awful way
But duly earned

The Return of General Patton

So many instances of this
Even General Patton
Thought he was a re-embodied soul

An officer he had been in times long gone
And this knowing came to him
As he marched through the muddy roads of
Germany in World War Two

Through A Glass Darkly written by General Patton

Excerpt from Through a Glass, Darkly written by General Patton

Perhaps I stabbed our Savior
In His sacred helpless side.
Yet I've called His name in blessing
When in after times I died.

Through the travail of the ages,
Midst the pomp and toil of war,
Have I fought and strove and perished
Countless times upon this star

I have sinned and I have suffered
Played the hero and the knave
Fought for belly, shame or country
And for each have found a grave.

So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

So forever in the future,
Shall I battle as of yore,
Dying to be born a fighter,
But to die again, once more.
