Ancient Wisdoms from An Ancient Wayshower

Throughout time as it is known and even before then, there were Beings on the planet who helped share the ancient wisdoms of Soul and spiritual knowing. This is about the Sun God, Mithra.

Early Days...

Once upon a time in ancientMesopotamia there was born a child who was to become ateacher for many. At a young age he would wander through the busy marketplace of Babylon and speak to the people there but his favourite pastime was in observing people and what they said and did. His name was Mithra.
His parents would look for him and often found him sitting at the side of the well in the middle of the busy marketplace engaged in lively discussions with beggars and at other times, he could be found in the temples talking about Truth to the priests.

The Reasons Why....

Mithra saw how the poor were despised by the rich and he saw how the rich ran roughshod over everyone else. He pondered on this for many hours wondering how such things could come about. And he was told within that the paths of these people, whether young or old, rich or poor, had been chosen by them, themselves. It was a way to clear the karma from other lifetimescause and effect which was carefully recorded in the annals of time, the Akashic Records.

Much to Ponder Over...

Growing up in this land where kings ruled with complete power over the life and death of their subjects, where great wealth was amassed by few and poverty known by many gave him much to think about.
Mithra saw the beautiful temples and palaces, the hanging gardens and over all the glorious light shining down from the great Sun that appeared in the sky every day and he wondered at that. Who made the Sun, who made the Moon with its silvery light and most of all who created the earth? All these questions ran through his mind like mice scurrying through a maze.

His Search for Self ...

Mithra was determined to find answers and he started on a search through the length and breadth ofMesopotamia, the ancient kingdom of the Sumerians, who were replaced in turn by the Assyrians and theBabylonians. He came upon many strange sights and talked with many people who helped him open to the great teachings that come forward through enlightenment. He realized he was seaching for his Self and knew that would enable him to become one with all Selves.

His Mission...

As Mithra grew older, people started coming to him for advice on many subjects for he became known as a travelling teacher and was able to perform miracles. He travelled with a group of disciples who had given up their earthly belongings in order to be with this great master.

Mithra's teachings were about Truth and the immortality of the Soul and he shared with his disciples ancient spiritual wisdoms that had come down through time.

And so it was and is...

Dreams…the Magic Mirror

We all dream…that is a given. Probably as young children we were given the keys to journey into the magical realms of light but then the veil of forgetfulness dropped when we were around 6 and now we have to find those who can help us find the magic again.  here is a piece about it.

What would you have me do she asked
As she clambered into her bed
Dream dream the Dream Master said
Of magic kingdoms where princes dwell
Rescuing fair damsels in distress

And knights in shining armour ride on white chargers
Through forests where dappled trees nod their branches
Over slow meandering crystal clear streams
But how can I do this she cried
I do not have the magic words
To transport me there

Finding Her Way

Find the way that is divine
A staircase of knowing deep inside

Climb steadily up and you will receive
The keys that open up the doors
To realms of being so profound

You never may return to ground

And like all good fairy tales tell
She flew away as on her pillow her head did rest
To join those who had gone before
Alice and Dorothy and Wendy too

So did this young child

Angels Wings

Her dreaming took a different view
Of shining beings waving wings
Translucent they in every shade

Violet and pink, blue and grey
Shining oh so bright

Into their caring arms she came
Buoyed up by wafts of scented air
Enfolded in such loving care
They knew she dreamed this reality
And on through time the memory
Would stay

Travelling the Realms

A tinkling bell rang in her dreams
vision of another world
Filled with beauty quite sublime

The taste of it like honey sweet
And even in this altered state
She knew

Could taste and hear and see
It all

The Dream Master there He stood
A radiant Being glowing bright

His eyes with loving filled

I told you so He said to her
I did not wave a magic wand
You did it by yourself my dear
The keys were garnered long ago
In other lifetimes when you knew
How to travel the outer realms of Sound and Light

Magic of Poetry Goes On and On....

Such fun to write poetry.... a different format always to use if I wish it to be...yet the words pour through before I even think and land upon the page..when I read it back am well pleased...and always the loving...the enduring soul....enjoy..

The Search

Where do we go from here
How do we find a way
Traversing inconsequentialities
Those that make us shake our heads

We wander the highways of life
Always searching for heaven knows what
When placed within each one us
The keys to making it back home
So many lost their way
No longer know which path to take
Sight of their goal back into realms of soul
Everlasting home

The Promise

Yet not one soul will be lost
However long it takes
Into Kingdom of God
Journey of the soul

A pathway set with jewels so rare
Shine they do with brilliant light
Each step you take becomes more bright
Glorious is the way back home

No more searching will you do
Knowing illuminates all for you
Within as you ascend the heights
Angels guide you through the night

Promised this was so long ago
Not one soul will be lost
God loving All of His creation
Each and everyone

Writing words

Writing writes and having writ moves on
Words fly cross the page
Landing where they want to do
Some for me
Some for you

A guessing game all it be
Pleasing for some
Others a misery
And misery likes company

Literate or no
It matters not a jot
The one who writes is in control
Of what comes down to place
Such a fun game

The Master Shakespeare

Methinks you who criticize
Have nothing better else to do
Goodie gumdrops
I say to you

I dance along the rainy streets
Drops hit 'gainst window panes
The master Bard peers out at me
Come in he says and join our merry game

There they sit with quills in hand
Fingers covered in blue black ink
Faces turned up rapturously
Worshipping the king of words

He teaches
Shares with all of us
A turn of sentence
Word to place
Not in the order most expect
Magical it ends up
A sonnet
Verse or
Play

and so it is......

Recognizing the Beauty that Lies Within Us All

Everyone has within them the keys of creativity. Some deny it and thus shut the door on it happening, others know it and ride through life on the proverbial unicorn of light. which way do you go!!!!!
When nothing new is happening to you
What do you do....
Some go into pits of despair
Rack up their karmic flows
For powerful creators we all be
Our thoughts and feelings make their mark
Upon the formless energy that lies within
Some call it Spirit

No matter what you do or say you cannot make it go away

In this a goodly lesson lies for all of us
Positive and loving thoughts to have
Keep our feelings in a neutral light

Forgiveness is another key

Some Unbelievers Yes There Are

There are some who do not believe that this can be
For yet have they to come
To this point in their evolution

They still are on the outward flow not ready yet to turn around
And get back on the homeward flow

This is not good nor bad it just is what it is
No Need to Plagiarize
I find it hard to believe that others plagiarize
When everyone inside has such creativity to use
in so many marvellous ways
 but not abuse
Take time to sit in quiet mode and listen to the voice within
Prompt you it will in diverse ways
How to form a proper phrase
With music running through and I dont mean outer music

It is the Sound that flows through all of us

Mirrors of the Soul

If you cannot believe then play serendipity
And see yourself as the beautiful being that you truly are
LIght shining through you into the world for all to see
If they see it not then darkness is their choice
But keep shining on and soon you will find
That joy runs through like a constant stream

Your eyes shine bright
Your soul is seen

for eyes are the mirrors of the soul

Thor and the Nine Kingdoms...part 3

cnwriter..carolinaStarred PageBy cnwriter..carolina, 1This covers Thor and his companions journeying through the Nine Kingdoms describing each.

The Journey Begins

For many days and nights,Thor and his small band of warriors travelled across the icy wastes that surrounded the jewelled isle ofAsgard. Through deserted patches of purplish land where nothing moved and over which a strange silence hovered. The ground was covered with a whitish mist that seemed to form shapes of men and animals and strange gods and then disappear to re-emerge in other forms. Overhead the lowering sky turned a sickly yellow during the day and at night sat heavily upon the heads of the weary men bearing them into the ground mercilessly.
Stopping only to rest for a few moments, their feet and hands frozen with cold and their eyes squinting out of sunken faces, the once proud warriors moved slowly but Thor strode on for his anger fed him mightily and this grew with every step he took. In his hand he held the strongest and most powerful war hammer Mjollnir, and around his waist he wore the girdle of might, Megingjarpa.

Land of the Giants

The first Kingdom they came to was Jotun Heim, home to Giants and Giantesses who turned from their constant warring against each other and started throwing boulders at the shivering men. Rearing high into the sky, the troll like Giants, their red eyes gleaming used their hammers to break the legs and arms and heads of the miserable men until suddenly one of the Giantess screamed out, ‘Stop!
It was she, Grid, who had given Thor the girdle of might, Megingjarpa because she recognized the power and nobility of this man. She held back her fellow giants until the travellers had passed through the cold greyness of this forsaken land.

The Ents of Salamondo

As the decimated band of travellers journeyed south, the Sun took pity on them and directed his rays to warm their path but this also brought out the Ents of Salamondo and they crept alongside the warriors, hiding in bushes and trees. They were misshapen and their faces still bore the troll like features inherited from their forefathers. Yet they were kindly and soon realized that the weary men needed food and drink if they were to survive the journey.
Their leader, Solto, timidly stood and called to Thor, ‘We bear you no harm, we are here to assist you and bring provisions, flasks of mead and platters of baked breads.’ Thor turned and gazed at the Ents. Their skin was rough like bark, their hands and feet gnarled and enlarged with six joints on each, and they had only one eye in the middle of their forehead that never blinked for it had no cover. But the kindliness of these tree people opened the hearts of Thor and his soldiers and they left Salamondo much revived.

Travelling through Muspel Heim

Burning fires soon appeared on the horizon as the travellers passed into Muspel Heim, and gazing up into the reddened skies, Thor espied jagged bolts of lightning filling the upper levels and large molten rocks rained down as Gods and Goddesses battled in the fiery firmament.
A loud sizzling was taking place as the Fire People beat out the flames with their swords and spears but because of the magic placed in the rocks by the Seven Lords, the swords lit up with a peculiar luminescence and a faint moisture appeared which dampened the burning fires till nothing remained but a bitter, acrid smell and twirls of blackish smoke.

Darkalf Heim

Thor hurried his men from this gloomy place and they entered into Darkalf Heim, a flat and deserted land filled with strange outcrops of stone and stairwells that led down into the depths of the earth. They followed these winding stairs deeper and deeper until they heard the sound of hammering and singing and came to a place where the walls glinted and shone. Legions of dwarves were merrily yielding pickaxes, digging out jewels and gold that striated the walls in long uneven lines.
Quite haphazardly the mounds of treasure grew and grew and then toppled over to form new mounds and as each fell, the dwarves laughed and kept on hammering away. Thor and his men eyed the glittering piles of gems thinking to steal some but the dwarves shook their heads warning the motley group of travellers against such actions.
The men sullenly drew back and muttered amongst themselves knowing they could out fight the defenceless dwarves and take as much treasure as they wished but Thor wisely led his warriors away back into the daylight above the ground.
The Elvish people of Alf Heim
The landscape changed and became one of light filtering through soft, verdant foliage and quiet flowing streams. High in the trees, the dwelling places of the Elvish peoples were strung between branches in colours of misty white and golden hue. Here too dwelled Alfesa, the chief Elf with his family and nobles of Alf Heim. Their homes of inlaid marble were built in circles arranged so that the early morning sunbeams painted the windows with warm, glowing light and the evening moonbeams caressed them with a silvery hue.

As Thor and the warriors entered the forest, noble Alf Heimers dressed in flowing white tunics and riding unicorns came up to them asking to know their purposeThor told them of his long journey to do the bidding of his Great Father, Odin, and how they had passed through many strange lands some very welcoming and others where they had battled and lost many men.
As Thor spoke, he looked through the little mirror his father had given him and was amazed at the beautiful auras around the heads of these Elves and knew their kindliness came from their hearts.
For many days and nights the travellers sat with the noble Elves before journeying on for Thor knew that their travels were almost at an end and they must return to Asgard to make peace with Odin, and so they did.

And that is another tale…….
