Race after race appeared
Of colours varied thus they came
Bringing forth a message new
A way of lifing not the same
They built atop of what had been
Layers and levels grew in size
Known they were as ziggurats
Found all over earth they were
One day to be discovered
By those whose curiousity
Went far beyond the norm
Archeologists they were called
Into lands of old they went
Digging down below the ground
Looking for ancient burial sites
Searching for documents relating to
What had gone on before
And now this my work too
Bringing forth for me and you
What then took place
Another look at what was so

No need to go to war
Unless that be your choice to do
